Bioterrorism
Bioterrorism is the intentional use of infectious agents, or germs, to cause illness. Bioterrorism preparedness has been made a national priority. District Health Depart met #10 continues to work with the Michigan Department of Community Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to identify and respond to bioterrorism. The federal CDC response to bioterrorism includes medications, medical supplies, and if necessary, vaccines to protect an affected community.
