Seriously, you can and were here for you every step of the way! DHD#10 has several ways to help you reduce your current tobacco use or quit completely.
Take your first steps toward becoming tobacco free, find a quit method that works for you:
1. Michigan Tobacco Quitline– For a limited time the Michigan Tobacco Quitline will be offering coaching and a 2 week trial of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to all new callers between now and May 30, 2018. Call 1-800-784-8669 or visit https://michigan.quitlogix.org to get started.
2. Tobacco Treatment Specialist– Meet with trained tobacco treatment specialists who work with adults and youth to help you better understand the effects of tobacco and nicotine on your health. One of our tobacco treatment specialists will help you develop your own specific program to quit. Tobacco treatment specialists also work with your healthcare provider to make sure you are getting the personal medical support to help you quit. This may be in the form of nicotine replacement therapy and/or medication that helps you succeed at becoming tobacco free.

3. SCRIPT Program– SCRIPT® is an award-winning, evidence-based program shown to be effective in helping thousands of pregnant women quit smoking. It is a component of a patient education program for prenatal care providers. SCRIPT® counseling is a reimbursable service under the Patient and Affordable Care Act.
