Clothing and Supply Drive – Wexford & Missaukee County

District Health Department #10 VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) Worker, Julie Kerr, is hosting a clothing and supply drive to benefit the Wexford/Missaukee Foster Closet of Michigan. Starting on January 14 through January 25, bring any new or gently used items from preemie to teenage sizes to DHD#10 in Cadillac at 521 Cobb Street. This drive is part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service by the AmeriCorps VISTA program, of which Julie is a volunteer.
Foster Closet of Michigan is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers, most of which are foster families. Foster Closet provides clothing, underclothing, toys, shoes, baby equipment, gear, and furniture to children placed in the foster care system in Michigan.
