The Department now offers this training on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
This certification meets the Michigan Food Law requirements for a certified
manager and is provided using course books from the National Restaurant
Association. The class includes a six-hour review of course materials and two
hours for administering the exam. To register for the course, food service
managers and operators can call 231-876-3821. A copy of the Food Manager
